Norma has her Bachelors degree in Industrial Psychology from St. Mary's College in Moraga, as well and she has received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on Curriculum from CSU East Bay.

Certificate of Participation: "Enhance Student Success in Your Child-Centered Preschool Program." sponsored by: Bureau of Education of Research. Norma attended this day-long training on January 27, 2012. It was led by Bev Bos, a well-known speaker and renowned early childhood education expert, who has been featured on 20/20, and owns a preschool in Roseville, CA.
From the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, Norma has earned the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit. This is for completing 4 classes (12 units) at Diablo Valley College in ECE:
From the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, Norma has earned the Child Development Program Director Permit. She received this after receiving her Master's Degree in Education at CSU East Bay as well as the following classes at DVC.
Followed by earning the Certificate of Accreditation for Family Child Care, by the National Association for Family Child Care. For attaining the highest standards of quality for the family child care profession.
Norma has also earned her PDP Alliance Certificate as of January 12, 2010.
